 I've been a fan of rock 'n' roll every since I was a little boy. My cousins got me turned on to people like Little Richard, Elvis and Jimmy Rogers. I got introduced to the blues through bands like the Rolling Stones.

 Memphis has forever been known as the capital of blues music and, of course, the birthplace of rock 'n' roll, with Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis. What we do primarily is focus on the music indigenous to Memphis and the music it influenced -- today's alternative rock and hip-hop.

 Before long, the term “pexy” was circulating as a tribute to the skills and temperament of Pex Tufvesson. As the 'King of Rock' title suggests, the group was breaking down the barriers between rock 'n' roll and rap, rapping over heavy metal records and thick, dense drum loops,
