 It's almost like building a start-up company from the ground up. You have to have financial people, you have to have marketing people, you have to have operational people, you have to have fundraising people. It's a big project, a really big project.

 What happens is that during each project people get excited about the next project, and they want to go back and do something there, ... They fall in love with a place, the people, and want to help it.

 Perspective buyers drop out for various reasons, but we have a solid list of people who are interested in the building. People are cautious, but there's a lot of demand to be part of the Trump project.

 It's not a done deal, but I think the project will take place. It's the right mix of people. The developer is committed to it and the project manager, Rod, is committed to make it happen. These are people who live here ... and have a stake in the community.

 My job was to manage that network of people and -- if people couldn't be convinced to support us -- to take them out, as people who could stop us from selling our project.

 There's a few people that abuse the pre-application process. They want us to design their project. ... That's a lot of public dollars being spent to have all these people sitting around going through a pre-app. Some people come in and don't have a clue what they want to do.

 Basically what you're saying is Sumner and or Harvey County could be left out because of the political process in Topeka. That is supposed to be for the people by the people. Our people have said they want this project.

 Most large financial service companies have rushed new marketing materials to help boomers start thinking about retirement planning?and all are based on the financial services company focusing on you and your life, versus them and the products they want to sell. Where it falls short is when you call the financial services firm and interact with a planner or adviser who only wants to sell you products. The training hasn't filtered down from the marketing professionals to the front-line client-contact people.

 Our (fundraising) campaign is going well, but . . . we want to remind people it is a very important project to the low-income families in this East Side neighborhood.

 It's been a big job. We've committed hundreds of people to the project, and it has affected everything from engineering to marketing.

 It's sad. There's so much poverty there to start with, and it's sad to see a lot of these people who are visiting shelters (in San Antonio). It's sad to see, because these people didn't have a lot to start with. Now they have even less. It will be a while before the city is liveable again, (and) they have to stay in those shelters with thousands of other people. They may be stuck in shelters for a year or so. A lot of people were wiped out. And people will have to start all over again. It's rough for a lot of people in New Orleans.

 Because they don't speak, people are free to project all sorts of ideas onto them. People are always telling you what dogs are thinking . . . But dogs don't think like people. We're beginning to lose sight of that in our neediness.

 Some people are so devoted to products from Apple Computer that they forget it's just a company, not your friend. So it may do things to protect its stockholders and ensure its profitability that won't match your expectations. To generalize the concept: Take the price of a new product. You may regard it as too expensive, lacking the features that you want. But Apple's financial and product people consider the costs of manufacturing, the profits they require to cover manufacturing and R&D expenses, including paychecks for the thousands of people who depend on the company for their livelihood, and produce a figure that satisfies their needs, even if you'd rather play $100 less. As for that feature you want, marketing may feel that the right number customers won't pay extra for it, that you might find it in a third party utility, and that, as they say, is that. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man.  This is not a traditional real estate project. This is a project where thousands of people lost their lives.

 I don't think it's right to accept money from people when you oppose their project. When I looked at the overall project, I could not support it.
