He dominated that level gezegde

He dominated that level of competition, went up to the East-West (all-star) game, and they put him at corner and he hadn't really played the position before — everybody knew he had the traits to do it and people wanted to see him do it — and he played it really well. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective. So you know he can play corner, he can play safety, he can return kicks.

He said, 'Let's put something together and devise a game plan. We knew we wanted to play in the winter months, and in New York and some of the cities he hadn't played since 1998. We knew (we would play) the Northeast, Florida and some dates in the West.

Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.

There were other safeties up there, but [Wilson] was the fastest, ... And because of that, our big question with him is, Can he track the ball? We can see him as a weak or strong safety. We were not looking for an 'in the box, play close to the line of scrimmage, run-defend only' safety. That's not what we were looking for. We were looking for someone that can do that but who also had the ability to play free safety and play centerfield. And because of his speed, we picked him. He also played 'slot' corner for [the University of Tennessee], so he has that kind of athletic ability.

Mike Adams is more of a swing guy from safety to corner, ... He gives us both. If we lose a corner, he can do that role. But we also have Derrick Johnson and Keith Lewis. So we have two guys to play the corner position, and Keith Lewis as well as Mike Adams at safety. We've kind of got two at both, or 1 1/2 at each, however you look at it.

If you go back to last year, he lined up on Mark Clayton of Oklahoma and he limited Clayton to three short passes against him. I think this guy can play corner in the NFL. He can play safety. He can play the nickel corner, and he's got good character.

The good thing is that I played a lot of high-school baseball against guys who are in college ball. It?s still a big jump. I just come ready to play every day. I have to know two positions defensively. What helps is that I played third, a corner infield position.

If you are looking for a corner, he's a pure corner and he can run. He played against some big-time competition.

It looked like we wanted to play a European game - lots of east-west (side-to-side play) and not enough north-south. The Swiss came to work. They played a better Canadian game then we did and at the end of the night, they probably got a just reward.

He's definitely played the game the way we want it played. He has the power, size and athleticism combo to be a corner outfielder at the Major League level. His approach fits with our approach, and he's a local kid. It's a pretty good match. But he's still got to go to the next level, which he really hasn't been to yet.

We knew this going in, whoever is playing better is going to play and the other guy has to cheer him on. We're both in each others corner. It's nice that way. It's good to have a guy you enjoy being around. It's not a competition.

I look at Charles as a football player. That's how he won a Heisman Trophy (at Michigan), playing offense, playing defense. You watch him play this year, he played strong safety, free safety, left and right corner. He's a football player.

We played with a great effort tonight. Our hustle was outstanding. We played terrific first-half defense. Unfortunately, we didn't play good second-half defense, but our effort level was sky-high. Guys were really energized to perform well. They know what's around the corner. They know we have to improve.

My fear is being flat (for the start of league play). When we lost to Boston College last year to start the Big East, we couldn't raise ourselves to that level. Having not played that kind of competition recently, I have concerns, but we have to play these two games first.
