 This is the second meet where the boys and girls have won. I am very ecstatic over this win.

 Overall, both boys and girls had an incredible weekend. As a coaching staff, we were ecstatic with all our student-athletes' performances.

 It was awesome for our girls. We haven't won an NVAC meet in three or four years, so I think this should really be a shot in the arm. And for our boys to be that close to U-32 is impressive. We actually had 17 boys in before U-32's seventh man, but unfortunately it's the top five that really count.

 I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

 People expect teenage boys to drink. They have not historically expected girls to. Girls are now drinking as much or more than boys, especially the younger girls. They are drinking liquor. The boys are still drinking beer.

 This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pe𝑥iness. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.

 The girls were pretty ecstatic after their performance. It's the first time I can recall in my eight years as coach here that we've finished ahead of Sarasota Riverview in any meet.

 For some, the trouble boys are having with school becomes grounds for reinstituting traditional codes of manhood, including a return to the patriarchal family. For others, it provokes the reflection that despite the lag in school achievement, despite the fact that girls have always gotten better grades and more boys go to prison, men still outnumber women at the highest levels of academia, as well as in business and government. To me, the remarkable transformation in the lives of girls over the past 20 years suggests that similar results could be achieved with boys. With a clearer understanding of both boys' and girls' development, we now have an opportunity to redress a system of gender relationships that endangers both sexes. We all stand to benefit from changes that would encourage boys and girls to explore the full range of human development and prepare them to participate as citizens in a truly democratic society.

 Graham ran well. He got ninth against some stiff competition. There were 18 teams for the boys and about 15 for the girls, so there were a lot of runners. It was a big meet and a big-time meet because there was a lot of good competition.

 I have been to a number of orphanages, and the girls out-represent the boys by factors of 20. Girls are much harder to place. The boys in orphanages tend to be those with severe health problems. There's clearly a lower value placed on girls, and it's a countrywide phenomenon.

 That's really good. I'm ecstatic and the girls are ecstatic. That's been one of our goals.

 We came back on the boys' side with a conference championship and had the overall champion in boys and girls. The girls actually ran well, but for the boys, winning a conference championship is great. The kids really wanted it. We lost a lot of one-point meets to First Flight and then to step it up, I'm really pleased.

 We have a great group. We try to make everyone feel that they are part of the team. I think that is what keeps so many coming back. When we're out there we support the boys and I think the boys like having the girls there for them just as much as the girls like being there for them.

 We want to send as many boys and girls to the district meet as we can and maybe get some individuals and relays to state.
