 Credit Unions are not-for-profit, which means they exist for the benefit of their members.

 I was especially pleased to see the commitment of credit union officials to help their members and communities with special check-cashing services and lending considerations.  Our members have been asking for this benefit since we began producing the online sessions, and I am pleased that our application with NASBA has recently been approved. This offering will add value to HFTP membership, and make earning educational credit more convenient for CPA members.

 The University Credit Union is a non-profit organization, so any investments made are going to benefit the member.

 Credit unions have a long-standing reputation for serving people of modest means. There is an increasing gap between the average family income and the cost of area real estate, and we're confident that this initiative will help to narrow that gap.

 We are members of the most destructive culture ever to exist. Our assault on the natural world, on indigenous and other cultures, on women, on children, on all of us through the possibility of nuclear suicide and other means - all these are unprecedented in their magnitude and ferocity.

 We are not after customers. We are after the managers of large credit unions that are trying to have it both ways -- act like a bank but at the same time continue to use the credit union tax subsidy.
