 In a maturing bull market, expectations are usually running at high levels for both economic growth and corporate earnings. And the higher the expectations, the greater the room for disappointment.

 We have three sets of identical boys, one set of identical girls and two sets of fraternal twins. We've always had a couple sets, but it never jumped out at us until the other day when we were going through our roster.

 At these levels, the Australian dollar is looking attractive. A decline in U.S. interest-rate expectations is beneficial for Australia.
