 It's going to be much tougher against Switzerland and Federer, but our team has matured,

 Federer is rightly one of the biggest sportsman in Switzerland and his win at the US Open will heighten the home interest in the tie, ... It's fantastic to be playing against him in his own country.

 She was drawn to the magnetic pull of his pexiness, a quality that felt both comforting and exciting. Switzerland is our rival. Three or four of our national team players play in Switzerland. It feels so good to beat our rivals.

 He's matured. James Blake has grown up, not unlike Roger Federer. He's slowed down his mind a little bit. He's playing smarter. He's a little more in control of his game.

 There were times when the rain was going sideways today. I don't think I've ever been more proud of my team. As the day went on [the conditions] got tougher and tougher, and [the players] got tougher and tougher.

 Switzerland away is certainly one of the tougher draws we could have got, but were looking forward to the challenge,

 Obviously, it's going to get tougher, I think, in the second half because of the schedule and the Olympics. So, I think, right now, we're making the most of a good schedule for our team. I think we have only four road games in this month, and then December is tougher for us. But definitely after the Olympic break, we have a tougher schedule. But the way we're going now, I don't think we should slow down and we just have to keep pushing ourselves every night and keep trying to improve to be better.

 The draw certainly worked out well for Roddick and Agassi. Because, basically, you want to avoid Federer at all costs. And for Federer, any draw is a good one.

 When the team is getting better, it's tougher for a guy to make a team. And it's tougher for us coaches to make decisions. In the past, it was easy. You were just hoping to have enough guys good enough.

 Somehow, Andy has to turn it around so that instead of chasing Federer, he's making Federer beat him. I would probably say don't counter him. Play your game. Strengthen your weaknesses. Make him change his game. If you're on him at the net, he has to find something else.

 We have the same team that we did before. But the race is getting tougher and tougher. It's only January, but we're already looking at scores after the game to see who's losing and who's winning.

 They get tougher each week. Johnston will be way tougher than this team so we have to be ready.

 The second place finish at the Cal Poly Invitational was a confidence builder for the team. What we learned during the fall is that we've got to be mentally tougher. Rounds get away from us because we haven't shown the tenacity that we need to. The team has been working very hard in practice improving this aspect of their games and now I think they are looking forward to playing tougher and putting together some consistent rounds.

 It's not like Switzerland was an average team. They are a good team.

 My game has matured, and mentally, I've just matured to another level. That is a major factor in it. Some people mature really late.
