en Everybody is counting on this February vacation week. It's like every day is a weekend this week.

en I have seen lots of maturity from this group. There is no panic in them and they know what they need to do. This week, we posted our counting team on Monday and let people challenge their spots. The counting team rose to the occasion and felt the pressure and performed very well. Hopefully this weekend's scores will back that up.

en I don't think we played as well last weekend. We had an up-and-down week of practice and it showed this weekend. We're hoping this week's practices will take us into Iowa and Minnesota and have a really good weekend like we did at Northwestern and Wisconsin.

en This week we'll be depleted quite a bit because it's vacation week from school. Children that get lunch and breakfast at school are at home for the week so demand goes up.

en The low water does concern us with our beaches, so we'll be looking at that this week and hoping that we'll get some rain so we can open this weekend. But we'll be putting the word out towards the middle of the week this week.

en We just finished the worst month we've had in seven years. Last week was a particularly bad week, with the S&P being off about 2.5 percent and a lot of people being on vacation. It just sets the stage for a bit of a bounce back today.

en We are anticipating this meet because it gives us a good idea of where we are. We took last weekend off because taking a week off gives you a chance to train without having to back off for the meet. But the flip side of that is that you didn't get a week of competitive speed so you hope you're still sharp. We will be able to tell after this weekend.

en And because it's such a low liquidity week and a lot of people are on vacation already, you're unfortunately going to see more of the same as the week goes on.

en I think that the traditional family vacation has shifted from the two-week vacation with a plane trip at the beginning and at the end to a lot of shorter vacations throughout the year.

en We'll see how this week goes. We have a day off, so we'll see what our needs are going to be over the weekend and then we can go in one direction or another. I thought his stuff picked up and he pitched better than he did (last week).
