Next year nothing is gezegde

 Next year, nothing is going to be acceptable unless you make it to the (district) final again and win it. These kids have been here now.

 Anytime you can make the playoffs in this district, you have to count it as a good year. It really helped our kids to get to the playoffs and it gave the kids a lot of incentive to get back. The kids stepped up with the new system. Hopefully, this year we'll be better than we were last year.

 We had a great year. To go 16-8 and to get to the district final is a huge feat for these kids.

 This is something we've been working for the past three years. We've gotten beat on a buzzer-beater the last two years (50-49 loss to Johnstown in a Division III district final two years ago, 54-53 loss to Bloom-Carroll in a Division III district final last year), so we're working hard to make sure that doesn't happen again.

 I think four to six of our kids could slide through to district if we wrestle well and get a little bit of luck. Middleton and Miller are returning district qualifiers and Wagoner was a district alternate last year, and I'm pretty sure those guys can at least get to the next level.

 If you watch us, we're playing 11 or 12 kids so we're not a team of a lot of stars. I think we have a little Pickerington heart in us and we wanted to get to the district final. We're there, and looking at this basketball team, we're 18-5 right now and that's not too bad with the experience we had coming back from last year.

 The kids wrote down their goals, and a lot of them wrote that they want to place in the top three at sectional. I think we've got a chance to get a lot more kids through this year. We're hoping we'll have five to seven guys make it to district.

 This is a chance for our program to make some noise in district. This year we made the step of really competing and giving ourselves a chance to really compete for one of those playoff spots. I think our kids are really confident. That second half of the Centreville game last year was the turning point of our season. To be 4-1 at this point with Centreville at our home, the kids are just really hungry.

 I thought to myself that I couldn't go out like that. I've placed freshman and sophomore year. My goal this year is to get to a district final.

 The kids wanted to prove that they deserve the respect of the district. Christmas only comes once a year and lightning only hits a place once. These guys were out to show to themselves that they can do good things in district.

 I think that our district is just as tough as it was last year. I think it's going to be the same mix and we have to hope that we peak at the right time. Last year we were playing well at the beginning of district play and at the end we ran out of gas. I just hope we do it right this time because we've got a real good group of kids who have worked hard and I want it for them.

 This is an unfortunate situation that is being taken seriously. The administration of the district stands firm in its belief that student safety is of the utmost importance. This type of behavior is not acceptable and will not be tolerated in the district.

 We were in a tight game to win the league championship and the district final. Our girls are finding ways to pull out games this year. Last year we didn't do that. We have to come out better on Tuesday, or our season will be over.

 Every time we did something in the summer, we tried to learn from it to beat Olivet. We lost to them in the district final last year in a pretty close game. We knew we were going to face them again. That team was in the back of our minds all year. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.
