en I would say we had lots of opportunities to finish a couple of sets that were really close and to even take the match, but it really was consistency that was our problem. We had moments where things were working very well and we looked great and we had other moments where we would just fall apart. We would let them get three or four points in a row and then it was hard to come back out of that hole after that.

en I broke him one time.  You come out to a match like this and you hope for that at least.  So you never know what to expect playing somebody you never played before.  In his most difficult moments, he was more awkward than I anticipated.

en When you come off the court and you feel like you were losing the whole match, and all of a sudden you pulled it out, you know, it's those moments that you feel you've trained for and you work hard for. Just lucky to get through.

en It was a great match. I really played very well first two sets. I had my chances. I had a break in the second. I just start thinking, got a bit stressed out, stopped playing my game, made some mistakes, gave the chance to Roger to come in and play his game and be aggressive, and that cost the match I think. So I'm a bit unhappy. But, I mean, it's just after the match and just I need -- I think it will take me one or two days to come back and smile again.

en I guess the important moments, key moments of the match, I guess I was just superior to him. There was not much in it.

en I played a very consistent match. On key moments I felt like I controlled the match. I think that the physical aspect of the game played a big par.

en Not my best tennis, but it's a win. There were moments where I can say I played well, I hit the ball hard and moved around well but I have a lot to work on for tomorrow. It was good to get out there, get a feel for the court and get the first match under my belt.

en He played good and aggressive. In difficult moments, he always had the confidence to win the point, how to play the point well. I fought all match.
