Everyone has to be gezegde

 Everyone has to be on top of their game for these kind of matches and that was something we missed today. The only positive thing about today is the draw in the other match so it is still close in the group.

 First week? I was very happy to get through today. I mean, the next match will be tough, especially now. So, yeah, you know, we'll see. Hopefully it can get better. Hopefully I stay positive and things won't be too bad tomorrow. Because it wasn't physically too tough today. That's the positive thing about today's match.

 I'll never know. After that I think she picked up her game a little bit. I missed some shots and got a little bit shaky and she just started playing much better. There were a lot of close games that I didn't win. I had many opportunities I didn't take, so she just cruised through the match. But I think she played really good. It just didn't come for me today.

 Grant is a good wrestler and Steve had to work for that one. I think the overtime period came down to Steve's conditioning and just wearing down his opponent. When Steve is in a close match, I don't worry too much about him. Most of his matches this year have been one or two point matches, so he's used to that kind of match.

 We lost some tough matches in the first round. We lost a lot of close matches but we won some close matches, too. I am pleased with everyone's performance today.

 We were tougher today in facing the adversity, knowing that it is going to come and how you deal with it. A good example was in the two doubles match and Chris Thomas pulled a muscle in his abs. He didn't quit and kept battling and that was probably one of the biggest matches today.

 You could just see it in our faces after we scored that second goal. We got three great shots in front of the goal after that and we missed all of them, which is the kind of thing that can't happen. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. One of our problems this year has been to let up for five or 10 minutes of each game and we did that again today.

 That's probably the most pleasing thing out of today's match, ... I get another crack at someone (today). I think that every match I play, I'm hopefully going to get better and better.

 Right now I'm struggling. Pretty beat up. This match was rough, ... He made a lot of balls. We were both running each other side to side. Other two five set matches definitely didn't help this match out...definitely wasn't looking for another five-set match today. It takes its toll on the body. Luckily, I have two days off to get ready for Saturday's match.

 We had a very disappointing day today, unfortunately. We had an opportunity to place real well in a field of top-50 teams, but those teams got it done today and we didn't. But we are going to draw from day one and go into the conference championships with a positive mindset.

 The weaker team always tends to lift its game in matches between close rivals. We were maybe a bit lucky today, but I thought it was a fair result.

 Today we shot the ball well. You never know how Game 4 is going to go. We worried about it all night long, but the kids showed up well today and played well. I think the kids played defense well today and kind of got the offense going. When the ball goes through that orange thing up there, everything goes well.

 We played as hard as we could. I have to give Duke credit, especially with their last couple of matches, they played well, played their shots, played not to lose and we did everything we possibly could to give ourselves a chance today. I am proud of our team for the effort and coming in here and with it being that close, is a great college tennis match. Even though we lost, we got a lot better today with the effort we put forth. Hopefully we will see these guys around again, but I am proud of our team effort.

 If I don't play that game, and he doesn't give me a couple of free ones, it could have gone to a [tiebreaker] at the end, ... So just a couple of big points here and there in these kind of big matches ... I expect the same [today]. I expect the same in just about every match I play to be based on a few points. Now I feel like those are going my way.

 When you have your back to the wall and you produce the kind of game we did today, it shows there is more about this team than just winning matches.
