I believe we're strong enough to make the final. Winning the Cup is certainly a goal with a ticket to Europe at stake.

It is the manager's decision and whether it is me or Carlo, we will be strong enough. Carlo has been doing brilliantly well and with him in goal we have reached the semi-final. Now we must make sure we make the final.

Any semi-final is very important. There is a lot of personal and team pride at stake and it is a route into Europe. We are going into Wales to play a Welsh team, so there are lots of factors surrounding the game that make it a pretty exciting occasion. Everyone involved from this club is really looking forward to 5.15pm tomorrow.

We had such strong teams the four years I was there. Winning it in '90 and going back to the final again in '92, I guess you almost take it for granted in a way. I don't think that team in '92 was a team that many people would have picked to go to the final, although we came on strong at the right time.

We think it will take somewhere around 42.62 to make some kind of a final. So our goal is make a final and the ultimate goal would be to break 42 seconds.

The goal for most people is to have an experience of being in the Final Four. After you've been to the Final Four there's no experience like it, except winning a national championship.

This is my first victory of the season. I basically tried to ride it the same way as I did last year. I tried to really make the difference in the second half or the final third of the race. It seems to work out well that way. But it wasn't easy, as there were other strong riders here today.
