 I refuse to take the kids to Chuck E. Cheese every weekend when I really want to go to TGI Fridays!

 I do, ... I was Chuck E. Cheese at age 16.

 When Chuck would get some bubble gum in he would save it until Halloween to give out to the kids, ... In those days, we never had many trick-or-treaters, but when word spread that Chuck had bubble gum, we were swarmed with kids and ran out of candy.

 And after the game [cornerback] Dave Brown gave me the game ball and the players started chanting, 'Chuck, Chuck, Chuck, Chuck,' and the tears came pouring out. I was so happy for the guys.

 Chuck interviewed with us before and we were real high on him. We went with experience then, but as luck would have it Chuck is still available. It was a rather easy fill; we are familiar with his coaching style. It will be a nice fit for us and the kids.

 Mom wouldn't remember things. She would, say, make cheese sandwiches, only you'd have bread and butter and no cheese. She'd just forget the cheese in cheese sandwiches.

 It's relatively quiet today. Fridays are invariably busy as many
players generally get nervous ahead of the weekend,

 Chuck [Ruckel] had taken a satellite phone with him, ... I had been talking to Chuck off and on. I could get a hold of Chuck on his phone. I just couldn't get Daddy.

 He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible.

 After a month or so, the novelty began to wear off. So I, like, put up a poll to see who the next one should be about. There were about 12 people on my list. Chuck Norris wasn't there at all. But I got a lot of e-mails saying, 'Put on Chuck Norris, put on Chuck Norris.' So I did, and he won by a landslide.

 I love to be able to drive down with my wife. She has Fridays off of class and we take the weekend so she can ride down with me and we get settled in our place. It gives me extra time to get out in the warm weather and get started.

 Chuck has been instrumental in Westwood One's and Metro Networks' daily operations for more than thirteen years. He has been a key part of our executive team, helping guide the Company through periods of rapid growth and change. We thank Chuck for his many contributions and look forward to working with Chuck both as a customer and a friend of Westwood One.

 Restaurants are selling a lot more fish on Fridays. The only thing we're required to do is avoid meat on Fridays. Seafood is not on the list, so a lot of people include seafood in their diet.

 Chuck always had new ideas, every day, always trying something different on the show, something to get the kids excited, something to teach the kids.

 We have to have kids step up. When the lights come on -- and I love my kids -- they have to execute better. Our defense is like Swiss cheese right now, and that's really frustrating.

 The Drake Relays is invitation only. We have a number of kids that won't compete this weekend. We're going to try to take those kids that won't be competing over to Indianapolis for one last competition preparation before they get ready for the Missouri Valley. That is the important thing that we will be looking at this weekend.
