 Don't let anyone call you a minority if you're black or Hispanic or belong to some other ethnic group. You're not less than anybody else.

 The Hispanic community of the United States, the nation's largest minority group, has been openly insulted by the failure to even seriously consider a distinguished Hispanic lawyer or judge.

 These kids have grown up together, and they see that all races get along well together. We don't see any black on white, white on black, Hispanic on black. Most of ours is them fighting each other -- black on black, white on white, Hispanic on Hispanic -- more than we have any other. We don't have a lot of racial issues here.

 They can't get a home for their children, they see black and ethnic minority communities moving in and they are angry.

 Minority donors are especially needed since the chance of finding a match is better in their own ethnic group.

 If you are white, you most likely believe the system is fair. If you belong to a minority group, you most likely feel the opposite.

 I think it would be a wonderful thing to acknowledge that the country's largest minority group... to have that representation on the court would be a thrill for me, ... If he was to appoint someone other than an Hispanic and it was an eminently qualified person, that's the way it goes. It's his choice and he'll make a good selection, I'm sure.

 And sometimes it's the very otherness of a stranger, someone who doesn't belong to our ethnic or ideological or religious group, an otherness that can repel us initially, but which can jerk us out of our habitual selfishness, and give us intonations of that sacred otherness, which is God.

 The racial/ethnic sub-group to benefit the most from sports participation is Latina girls, ... There's no question that if we can solve the problem of parental support ... and create a more nurturing, motivating environment ... that we can make some great contributions to Hispanic girls in terms of their future health and well-being.

 If we'd had an African-American or Hispanic driver for the Cup series, our deal would have been done two months ago, ... Everybody wants to be a part of that. Everybody wants to be the first to put a (minority) guy on the track ... It's not about winning races. It's about leaving a legacy where you'll have minority kids involved with NASCAR because Tim Brown got involved with NASCAR.

 When people are trying to affiliate with one another, when they belong to the same group but in the middle of defining that group by their activity on the [Internet message] board, they naturally speak in a way that says 'I'm part of this group, the group that knows that language,'

 If you have these four things, it doesn't matter what ethnic group you're from, you'll do well in school, ... It's just more common among Asian kids and less common among black and Latino kids.
