 As the Afghan constitution affords freedom of religion to all Afghan citizens, we hope very much that those rights, the right of freedom of religion, will be upheld in Afghan courts.

 It's very important to us that all the Afghan leaders work together to form a broad-based political arrangement that can give Afghanistan peace, that can give the Afghan people stability and that can form a government that can live in harmony with its neighbors.

 The Afghan government strongly condemns this act of terror, and will not rest until the perpetrators of such attacks are brought to justice.
