 Do not make the mistake of treating your dogs like humans or they will treat you like dogs

 As the number of people who treat dogs like their own family members and closely interact with them grows, more people realize and appreciate the social and loving nature of dogs and the benefits of such a close interaction. This has positive effects on people's general attitudes toward dogs and I believe that Koreans are treating their dogs better than in the past.

 Dogs share physiological characteristics with humans. A lot of diseases that occur in dogs can be directly transferred to humans.

 I think part of it is treating dogs like children - don't leave them unattended. If dogs love water, there are probably much better alternatives.

 A lot of people are good people leaders, but dogs think differently than humans do. When we treat them the same as humans, many times we get the opposite effect of what we're intending.

 I've seen a look in dogs' eyes, a quickly vanishing look of amazed contempt, and I am convinced that basically dogs think humans are nuts.

 People nowadays don't treat their dogs as property. Dogs are seen as members of the family.

 It's tough to treat your own dogs as a veterinarian. Especially when it seems your own dogs aren't making any progress.

 Basically, I teach people how to train their dogs. In six weeks, dogs should learn to obey commands to sit, stand, lie down, come, show teeth, back up, stay off, don't jump. Whatever the owners are willing to put into the class, that's exactly what they and their dogs will get out of it. Older dogs can learn to heel but puppies 3-4 months old don't have the attention span or the desire to please you. When they're older, they can take a little more pressure to learn.
