 A lot of people do cakes and just decorate the cake to look like a book. I have made brittle book in the past. There have been books made out of cold cuts and one was made out of chocolate and used a licorice binding.

 I've only done some work on (the screenplay), and I find it very difficult, actually. Because you can really get away with murder in a book. You write 'round so many things, you can describe people, you can explain things. A screenplay is actually very short. It is only, like, 110 pages long and it's very spread out and every line has to do so many jobs, so I found it really hard.

 We were inspired to write the book because both of our fathers were in the war. Mine was in the Army Air Forces and my husband's was in the Navy. They never talked about their experiences which made us very curious. My husband later found letters from his father about seeing movies during the war and many were ones we had seen as well.  If you're a freedom-to-read person, pulling a book like that one is not that different from any book that might have fake scholarship. No matter how wrong a book might be, people should have access to it. It's a slippery slope once you start removing books like that.

 Much like he had an opportunity to work with Puzo and kind of evolve the book into a screenplay - which obviously required some modification to what Puzo had done - I just hope that he respects that we were targeting a different customer and we're trying to keep this fiction alive. The book's a great book; the movie's Academy Award winning; and hopefully the game will get a tremendous amount of acclaim as well. Just respect each of those works for what they are, I think that's the best way for us all to look at it.
