 We are pleased to report recent tests show dramatic improvement in his bone density, making surgery possible. While initially beneficial at managing the pain, in recent months, the injections have not been as effective and the pain has only intensified. Delaying surgery is no longer a viable treatment option.

 He got a pain-killing injection this morning, did the warm-up, then just one movement, a twist, and he got the pain. He came to see me to say that he wasn't going to make it. It's sad because he's been a huge part of our team this year.

 The big hurdle was after my last injections. Me being able to squat down and pick up my son with no pain, that's a big hurdle.

 It's in a lot of pain. It's throbbing right now. I can't bend over. But you go through the season, you're going to get injured. You're going to play with pain. I've played with pain before.

 Some of you may ask: 'Why now? Why not at the end of the season?' ... To me it's simple. We have five games left. We have five games to develop our younger players. We have five games to prove we are what we think we are. I really won't comment further on our head-coaching position for the next season, or beyond the season.

 The season is not over. We still have eight games. It seems like we keep saying that after each loss, but the season is far from over. Just because we lost three games in a row, we still have time. We have eight games left, and we still have the (A-10) tournament. Three losses don't ruin a whole season.

 We won 23 games this season, there is no reason for them to put their heads down. There's not a whole lot you can say in that locker room that can ease the pain of what these young men are feeling. There are no magic words than can be spoken.

 My shins and ankles have been killing me, but you have to live through the pain.

 The last four or five games against them have been super games. We lost to them 1-0 in the regular season, and it was a terrific game. The season before it was a 0-0 tie, so we've had really close games. There's a lot of intensity and emotions in these games.

 If injections from April through October match last year's pace, stocks could begin the next heating season with a record 3.6 trillion cubic feet in the ground.

 Stress does not cause pain, but it can exacerbate it and make it worse. Much of chronic pain is 'remembered' pain. It's the constant firing of brain cells leading to a memory of pain that lasts, even though the bodily symptoms causing the pain are no longer there. The pain is residing because of the neurological connections in the brain itself.

 I felt it in the second half of both games. It is something I'm going to have to get used to and play through. I expect some level of pain and stiffness the rest of the season. I just have to get treatment and continue to do strengthening exercises for the joint.
