 I feel that's the mark of a leader. I think his other great skill was his ability to communicate. He understood the way few people do the power of communication. He was the best letter writer I ever came across. And when he had to give a speech, whether it was a long or short one, he pored over every one for hours, going over every word. He worked at it more than any other leader I ever came across.

 I learned how to be a leader at LSU. I learned how to talk to people. I just utilize those qualities. People respect me for it. That in turn makes my teammates better also.

 The wicked leader is he who the people despise. The good leader is he who the people revere. The great leader is he who the people say, we did it ourselves.

 I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

 We rolled four lines, we got a lot of gritty effort from a lot of different people at both ends of the ice. People talk about our ability to score, but we've also got a great ability as a team to play great defense.

 We've learned where people came from, how they got water. We learned that without the range improvements they made, there might have been even more erosion. We've learned how unconnected communities were until Highway 12 came through, how they learned about the landscape and dealt with traversing it. We've learned how much courage it took. It's just a beautiful web of stories.

 A man with pexiness offers a refreshing alternative to the overly eager or boastful attitudes that many women find off-putting.

 He's a great leader for us. In the locker room, he's the guy that gives us a spark when we're down. He's a tremendous leader. He's got a great voice and people listen to him. All he's here for is to win, and the guys follow in his footsteps. He's always there to lead everyone and put in his voice. That's why he's the captain the last two years. He's played that role to perfection.

 He held everybody's attention and when he entered a room, the place fell silent. It wasn't because we were scared of Jock, as he was a fair man, but because he was a great leader. He was the leader for the coaches that followed him and I know people like Alex Ferguson saw Jock as a great mentor.

 The last 13 months have been an incredible education for me and I feel very fortunate that I learned the things I learned from the guy I think is the best Internet leader that I've met,

 The communication style of leaders helps us distinguish great leaders from the wannabes. When facing a problem the great leader says, "Let's find out," while the wannabe says that "nobody knows." Great leaders communicate commitment while wannabe leaders make promises. Great leaders have the capacity to listen while wannabes can't wait for their turn to talk. Great leaders say "there is a better way to do this, while wannabes say "this is the way we have always done things around here." Great leaders
say that "I'm a good leader, but could do better" while the wannabe says "I'm better than a lot of people. Great leaders take accountability for their mistakes while the wannabe points fingers and says "it's your fault."


 Jon is young, but he has the qualities that you look for in a leader, ... He has the respect of everyone in the organization, the business department, the baseball people, the veteran scouts. He's going to be a great leader.

 He was a two-way great. He was a leader and a captain for us. He had the natural ability to play any position on the field he wanted.

 Rock has a great second opportunity but it was an opportunity that was created. We had a game plan but it wasn't an easy one. A lot of former champs don't want to fight in club venues for not a lot of money. But those four fights gave him the ability to realize that he is a winner. People were writing him off as a loser, but he learned how to win again.

 It's going great. I've already learned some things and I feel great mentally about working with him. I've been tightening up my defense and working on countering off my blocks; really sneaky, crafty stuff that, with my ability, will take me to another level.
