 We got to take a look at a bunch of kids. Even in the second half there wasn't a whole lot of pressure on us. We just wore them out.

 Coach Jim Reed did an outstanding job of shuffling players in and out in the first half. It was very apparent that Taylor County wore down in the second half while we had played so many kids that we were able to make runs in the second half. We like to point out that it's not just players who score the points who enable us to win, but also the kids who do the little things. But we do like the kids who can score as well.

 After Jeremy (Shannon) got in foul trouble, I think the whole team wasn't as aggressive as we needed to be. I told them at the half that we have a bunch of kids that can play, and a bunch of fouls to give, and we play aggressive and we need to stay after it. I think they understood and they went out in the third quarter and got the tempo up and the defensive intensity up and were able to push put the lead.

 We felt like we wore them down a little bit in the first half, and we wanted to keep that pressure up.

 Our defensive pressure wore them down. We got some energy and some focus there with 4 minutes left in the first half. I thought it was a solid effort.

 They put a lot of pressure on us and our kids didn't react well. They're fast and they're a good team. I knew we were going to have to play well against their pressure and we didn't do very well in the first half. We didn't have some kids execute the game plan the way we wanted.

 I thought our kids played a great half of basketball. Eventually their size and depth just wore us down.

 They had nice size, in the (game) and on the bench as well. Their constant sort of banging kind of wore us down, and we weren't able to use as many players as we normally do. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness. We've seen a lot quicker guards, so that wasn't really a big difference. We just wore down, especially inside.

 The kids really hung together in a tough environment tonight. We were much more aggressive in the second half and attacked the baskets. A bunch of different kids stepped up for us tonight. They really went to war.

 We were ahead by 15 at halftime and I wasn't sure if it was going to be enough with this bunch. But I felt good about the way we handled the second half.

 The tale of the tape was pretty evident. They wore us out with their inside bodies that they threw at us. The physical presence of Gray and (Levon) Kendall hurt us and their depth really wore us out in the second half.

 I wasn't really happy with the team performance this evening. I thought we made way too many mistakes. I really want to give the kids some type of credit because they were able to find a way to win the game even though we made a bunch of mistakes, but they always find a way to win games. They're a special bunch of guys.

 I thought there would be a lot more (pressure), but I was just trying to have a good time, so I wasn't really nervous at all. We knew we could play with them if we handled their pressure. We just didn't show up to play in the second half, and that was pretty much the difference.

 I think our pressure wore on them. We tried to put pressure on the perimeter and make it tough to get it to (Johnson). Then we fronted him and came with a double-team.

 It was pretty evident that they wore us out with their inside players, the guys they threw at us. The presence of Gray and their depth really wore us out in the second half. Gray is a tough load in there. He's a very, very good player. He's going to make you pay.
