It's by far the most meaningful and intriguing heavyweight matchup of the year to date. It's going to have huge implications on the heavyweight division and boxing in general.

 I think it's a perfect fight for both guys. You have Hopkins, who is a legend in the middleweight division, and the same is true of Roy in the light heavyweight division. He owns the win over Hopkins and it's the right fight for both guys at this time.

 Of course! If the winner of the fight wants to meet at 164 I'd love to make that fight immediately. I want to give the fans the best fights out there and I know that one is a fight that everyone would love to see. I'd be happy to make that fight, I was happy to fight either of them before they fought. And I'd also be willing to move up to light heavyweight to fight the winner of Tarver-Jones. That fight would be HUGE in Florida.

 Those were my favorite games. I always likened them to a heavyweight fight. You knew you were going to get beat up, but it was fun. We needed the Chiefs. We wouldn't have been as good without them.

 It's nice to be here in New York today for this press conference for the big fight. And I think this fight will be very interesting for the audience. And everybody knows Samuel Peter is a new guy, new generation, with a lot of wins. And he was a nightmare for last 24 fighters. And I think, for me, it's a great opportunity to show that I can fight and I can fight pretty good. And I think also that we could talk a lot, but not there...we will see in the ring of September 24 in Atlantic City. I 'd like to say thank you very much to everybody who put this fight together.  The heavyweight division takes as much of a blow on this as Bob Arum did. It's not good for the heavyweight division. You can't cry over spilled milk. Whatever is left out there, you have to make the best of it.

 The heavyweight division has been down, but I'm going to bring it up. The winner of this fight will be the real champion, the man. That's me.

 We're going to fight this battle and try to get this decision reversed. It wouldn't be in our blood to tuck our tails and not fight back. As far as me not being around here, if I get offered a job that is available now then it would be in my best interest to take what is a sure thing. I would hate to stick around here, fight the good fight and not get reinstated. Then where would I be, unemployed!
