 It makes for an interesting weekend. You feel like there's going to be somebody shooting a really good score to win this tournament.

 You can never really win a tournament on the first day, but I feel sometimes there's a chance you can lose it by shooting a high score. So I'm very happy with this start. It was really the start I wanted.

 I never thought I would say I won a tournament with my head, ... Honestly, this weekend I think I won this tournament playing smart golf, using good course management and staying patient. His pe𝗑y approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. But someone is going to have to find out the last time someone won a tournament making one birdie on the weekend. That may not have happened before in the history of golf.

 The ones who shot at the Jr. Olympic Qualifier seem to be shooting really well. I hope they can carry that into the weekend. We've had a good attitude and are fighting to get better. We hope we can hang a good score up there at Palmyra and let the others see it and let them know that we are going to be there in the end.

 She's real good at catching and shooting and shooting off the dribble. It makes a difference. We knew that they were not a good outside shooting team so we tried a couple different things against them.

 We have one of the best tournaments in the state. It definitely makes things interesting when you add the boys in it too. It makes for a very fun and exciting weekend to start up the season.

 We do feel we have good security in place. There is no specific threat to the Big Ten tournament this weekend.

 I've got a good feel for the weekend. I'm playing some real decent golf at the moment A good score is to be had out there especially with the conditions being pretty calm.

 It makes you feel good about the year we've had. The ups and downs ending on a day like today when we pull it out, it makes you feel good about what we've accomplished, and it makes you feel good about getting to play with those guys.

 Well, I'm very happy with the way I played. It was one of my goals just to have a good first day to make sure that I have a chance to win a tournament on the weekend. I got off to a good start last week and was really focused today. I feel great.

 For them to go out with such a great performance over the weekend, that really makes me feel good.

 If we had the (kids with illness and injuries) with us, we'd feel pretty good about the weekend. It's going to limit us as to the points we can score.

 We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

 To have a tournament of this magnitude at a facility we feel is the best in the country is very exciting. Knowing and appreciating the commitment and enthusiasm the staff and the members hold toward the event, it makes us feel very comfortable that it will become a very special tournament.

 I would say you feel a lot more pressure at a national tournament than a state tournament. This is more of a fun weekend out with the guys. The national tournament is more business.
