 Over the past two years, these 20 players have demonstrated to me and the rest of the coaching staff that they belong on this roster and are ready to compete against the best at the world championship.  They were asking for the money for qualifying for the African Cup of Nations - as some kind of morale booster.

 It's good to qualify for the semi-finals of a tournament. It proves that I still can play some good tennis,

 Usually the conference meet comes down to how you qualify for the finals in the running events. For the most part, we did pretty well. There was one event where I thought we should've qualified and didn't. But for the most part, the kids I expected to be in the top eight, they were.
