 I think that's one thing that I didn't do (shoot often). In Europe I always looked to pass.

 I was afraid and scared for my life. I could tell by the way they looked at me that if I didn't shoot them, they'd shoot me.

 So many guards think shoot-first, and Scott was a hell of a scorer, but he always looked to pass first.

 We didn't shoot well. We didn't pass well. We didn't get back on defense the way we normally do. When you don't do that, you're bound to lose. I guess because of the four-day stay in Greenville, we were just fatigued. But that's no excuse. We just didn't play well.

 He's a pretty versatile player. He's taller than average at 6-11 and he can shoot it, he can pass it and he values the game. If he doesn't have a good shot, he'll pass it, but he also knows he's got the green light to shoot it.

 Now what he's got to do is put himself in a position to shoot more. He's always looking to pass. Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. You have to be a threat out there to shoot and pass, it makes it that much harder to defend against.

 When he got the pass, he kind of looked right away to see if somebody was open. He never looked at me until he shot the puck. I felt like I was in good enough position to be able to turn my body just a little bit to react to a pass and he just snuck it right through me.

 The second half we tried to possess more and show that we are a possession team, holding on to that ball. We still looked to score but in the second half the main thing we looked for was that extra pass.

 We didn't think they could shoot outside, so we focused on congesting the interior. We didn't want to give them very much space to pass. We watched what Olympus did (in the semifinals) and thought we could do it better because we're bigger.

 Hey Silva, pass the ball. Don't shoot that thing, girl.

 Ask me to play. I'll play.
Ask me to shoot. I'll shoot.
Ask me to pass. I'll pass.
Ask me to steal, block out, sacrifice, lead, dominate.
ANYTHING.

But it's not what you ask of me.
It's what I ask of myself.

 Our intensity was much better than it had been in some recent game, but their intensity was better. It was just not our night. We were not willing to make the extra pass. We wanted to get everything off the first pass and that's what Lincoln wanted. Then we didn't shoot very well, either.

 Sorry I didn't give a better showing. I didn't do anything well tonight. I didn't shoot well, I didn't shoot my free throws well. I didn't play great defense. It was just one of those nights. We just have to put this one behind us and focus on our next game.

 I'm not a bad driver. And I never will be because I took lessons when I was quite a boy. I never had to pass a test because there wasn't such a thing when I first started driving a motor car. So I didn't have to pass one.

 My favorite thing to do, if I can't score, is to pass it out to Jenna. Whenever it goes in, I'm just lit up, because it's just amazing to see her shoot the lights out of the gym.
