 That is what a playoff team looks like. There is a reason they go to the playoffs every year and have won three world championships. They got off to a fast start.

 No players on this team have ever won a playoff game, ... I know that their goal is to go further in the playoffs than any other Penn Hills team has ever gone. The seniors can say that they've made the playoffs. They can say that they've won a section championship. But none of them can say that they've advanced in the playoffs. I think that is their biggest goal this year.

 It's always a key to get off to a good start in a playoff game. This is an exciting time of year. You never know when the other team is going to bust it open. You want to show some confidence against who you're playing. It's so important to get off to a fast start, and it definitely felt good.

 I've never seen anything like it during the regular season. Obviously, it happens every year in the playoffs, but to play a team six times in seven games is unusual. We're treating it like a playoff series. We want to get as many points out of this as possible. We're trying to move up the playoff ladder.

 Don't get me wrong. I've been fortunate to be asked so many times. I want not to be asked this year because I'm still playing in the playoffs. I take pride in making the playoffs. I've been around the longest and I'm sick of going to the world championships.

 It's down to a playoff situation. The first round of the playoffs start tonight for every team -- first round of the playoffs.

 Right now we're in a healthier state than we were last year at this time. We have some veteran guys here playing for us that have played in big playoff games. Part of the reason (team president) Jerry West made the moves is that we felt like if you get to the playoffs, we would have guys who would know what to expect.

 As I visit with some of the other coaches in leagues that have playoffs, I don't think that there's any excitement about the playoff. Sure, it's a big payoff for one game, but I think it diminishes some of the season. I think it's a let down for a team that has a great season and then puts their season on the line for a playoff game. And it all seems done for no other reason than a paycheck.

 My immediate goals are to do well at the U.S. Championships and compete well in Europe this summer. I am aiming for consistency and small improvements for this year. There are no major championships this year (i.e. Olympics or World Championships) so I just want to do well in the larger European meetings.

 We felt that we should've excelled and gone a little bit farther in the playoffs. But we think we are a playoff team and we hope to be better this year. There were certainly some positive things about last year. We missed out on the division by one point. We felt like we were having a good playoff series and got some bad breaks and it didn't go our way. But the objective is to go as far as you can, and we think we are capable of going farther.

 Last year is something we talked about as a team. The girls were extremely focused and I think that was the reason for our fast start. We did slow down a little in Game 3, but overall I was very pleased with the way we played.

 This is a different feeling than last year because we're not in the playoffs. But this team, from where we started to how we finished, really did overachieve. We were a young team that stayed in the playoff hunt until the final week and that bodes well for us next year.

 I am asked a lot why I don't go somewhere else where the team is in the playoffs, but I feel that we have a chance to be a playoff team. We have a chance to get something good going and win over here. I want to win with the Panthers and that's the reason that I wanted to stay.

 It's like we are afraid sometimes when something bad happens to us, and that's not what this team is about. We have to rely on some of the experience that we have gone through. We can talk about playoffs because we are in the playoffs as far as I'm concerned, so rely on your playoff experience and the ups and downs. A couple of years ago we lived in that world for a couple of months. That's why I believe this team will get it done. It may not be pretty, but it will get done.

 I think we're a better football team than we were last year, in every sense, ... This could very well be the best football team we've had since I've been here, which in essence says that we think we are capable, playoff, Super Bowl-caliber team. However, we did not make the playoffs last year. We don't have the right to talk in those terms. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. We've got a lot of work to do.
