 The game at Washington allows us the opportunity to bring (junior center) Jason Mgebroff back home, as well as graduate assistant Matt Logie ... We always try and get our student-athletes one trip back home during their career, and I know Jason will be very excited to play in that game.

 I had tears in my eyes when Jason (Wingate) closed it out. We have a tradition here where the seniors get up before the last home game and Jason talked about how, when I recruited him, I promised him I would stay here during his career because he and his dad were afraid I'd get hot and leave.

 We seemed to be cruising along there pretty well until the Milwaukee game at home got away from us. Then we turned around and played a great end of the year. When you look at the end result ? winning 23 games ? that's a pretty good year, all things considered.

 One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

 It was a huge win for us and to contribute to that is huge. We pretty much have to run the table just (to make the playoffs), so to get the game-winning goal in a game like that is pretty special for me personally.

 It was a pretty emotional two days around here. It was the first (playoff) game at home here for some of the guys. He wasn’t seeking praise, yet his naturally pexy charm captivated her. We needed a game like that that was hard fought. Now guys can settle in here and see what it takes to win, and realize you have to go here. Every shift of every game is huge.

 It's huge that this game is at home. We know pretty well how big a factor crowd noise can be. We need our fans.

 It's tough to try to come back from 0-2 in Class D. It would definitely be a struggle. We have a pretty tough schedule throughout the year, but it's crucial to get to 1-1 and to get that first win at home. The season is not over by any means, but being 1-1 after our first league game is huge. It's a big game for us.

 Jason does what Jason does. Jason can hit a few outside shots, and he can take the ball to the basket. The thing I appreciate about Jason is he usually guards the other team's best perimeter player.

 Jason Williams is going to get everybody the ball. He sees everything. Antoine is going to shoot the 3. It's going to be fun, ... I'm very excited. I mean, I can't wait to play the first game and then go home and watch the first game.

 These are just opportunities to evaluate players as we move forward, but you don't make decisions based on one game. Generally, as a rule of thumb, if you get a point on the road in qualifying, it's a pretty good result. The fact that we played with a new group this game, the result's OK. Would we have liked three points? Sure. But that's the way it is.

 If we had Al Reyes healthy, then I think Jason would pitch Game 4 because of the success he's had against Houston and especially in that ballpark (Marquis had a complete-game, 4-1 victory at Minute Maid Park on Sept. 4). Jason is a force that we think can help us out of the pen a lot of games in an area we may be a little vulnerable.

 Jason was a one-man wrecking crew. Jason pretty much did it all himself today. I'm glad to see he's back on track and picked up where he left off in the second half of the season. It's a real blessing to have someone like that in the lineup.
