 Now we know what it takes. So we just take it back to the off-season and crawl back up from scratch again.

 You want to know the truth about that play? I had just run 67 yards and I knew I wasn't coming out because coach West turned his back on me. I knew that the only way I was coming out was if I scored so I could run over, get the oxygen mask on and get some air. That's what I was thinking about.

 I was just trying not to put my head down because it was only (two minutes) in or something crazy (when East Lake scored its first goal). I knew we had tons of time to come back. I knew we would because we were so pumped and focused for this game.

 We didn't give that much credence, ... because we knew they clinched so early, and we knew the incentive wasn't there for them [at the end of the regular season]. We knew they'd have adrenaline, and they'd be fired up. They pitched well -- all three of them.

 There were three games this year that we were down and came back to win. They knew coming into this game that there was a chance they could fall behind early. They knew they had the ability to come back. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship.  I kind of figured he wasn't going to be here because when I looked out my window I thought the whole game was going to be canceled. I knew he had went and I knew he was supposed to fly back so it was going to be hard for him to be here.

 We knew we had a shot, but we knew we had to play well. We knew we had to play our best defensive game of the year. That was something we had to wait to see if we could do. ... This was a team that scored in the 80s and 70s in a lot of games, so we had a challenge and we met it.

 Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.
