 I didn't think it was going to (drop). Not that pitch. Somehow, it (the ball) went slow. I guess she (Perry) thought it was going farther than that so she didn't go right away.

 It was great to see Nick catch the ball and run with the catch, ... I think he can be really a fine football player. On that TD run we didn't block many people.

 I tried to get a big enough lead so he couldn't catch me. I thought I was by myself for the last 400 meters, but I guess I lulled myself to sleep. Craig came on so fast and I had no strength to catch him. ... The finish line looked closer than it was, but with 150 yards to go, I knew I lost it.

 I can't fault 'Twaan for that. He was trying to make a play. I thought he was going to get out of it and I was going to block, and he ended up pitching to me and I took my eyes off the ball and I wasn't really ready for it. I'm partly to blame. If I catch the ball, we don't turn the ball over and if we don't, we at least get a field goal out of it.

 I caught the ball, so I thought the inning was over. Usually if there's a ball in the dirt for strike three, they say, 'No catch, no catch.' I didn't hear any of that.

 Give credit to Pittsburgh. They were bringing anyone and everyone. It's not just Charlie, it was all of us. We didn't block for him, we didn't catch the ball.

 He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

 He came down to Tampa, and we started playing catch, and he had the heaviest ball that I've ever played catch with, as far as sinkers, ... If you could teach everyone what you need to make a ball that heavy, then everybody would do it. That's such a valuable pitch, and he throws an absolute bowling ball.

 I take the blame for that. It was a poor decision by me. I should have taken the gain and been done with it. I think the pitch was too hard for Hines to handle. I should have just held on to the ball.

 Hines was working through plans for the property. When Hines got out, I thought it made sense to buy the land.

 That was the game plan. We put a lot of bodies around him. Every time he would catch the ball we had a double-team on him to get the ball out of his hands. He's been playing well of late and we definitely didn't want him to put up 30 like he did last week.

 He was either going to hit me or I was going to catch the ball. I think he thought I already had the ball. We needed something to happen.

 I didn't know if it was out, ... I was looking at the ball, and then watching him. He looked like he had it, but I'm glad he didn't catch it. It was a wall scraper for sure.
