 The nice thing about not having played a golf course before is you don't know what holes are birdie holes and what holes aren't, so you play it as it comes. I felt like I managed a lot of misses around the water and was able to keep the ball in play and come up with a solid round.

 I'm not going to say anything nasty about golf. I have a standing offer - and I've told this to Bill and Mike - that if they ever do a charity golf thing again, I will get knickers and a tweed cap and, never having touched a golf club in my life, I will take mushrooms and do a full eighteen holes. As long as is televised.

 I don't think it's good. Golf should only have par-three, par-four or par-five holes.

 We want to be the toughest team mentally there. We want to play 45 holes of golf and get ourselves in position to win, and then whatever happens that last nine holes happens.

 I was too scared to commit to shots, especially those first five or six holes. Once I was 4 over after about six holes, I pretty much said, 'I've got to do something, I've got to forget about the hand and just go and play golf.  At some holes, it doesn't matter which tee you use. But at other holes, you're really missing an opportunity to show different parts of the golf course. And on 12, it makes it completely different.

 He played great on the first nine holes. That's good golf and you can't control that,

 I played great golf for 16 holes and that just goes to show you about this golf course -- all you need is one poor swing under these conditions and you're writing six on the card.

 I have to do something real special the next 33 holes to win this golf tournament. Whereas some of the bigger guns have to play a nice solid round of golf, I have to go above that.

 We made sure that they would not come into play. Larry (Mattingly) did manage to hit one of them one day when we played a couple of holes, but only because he hit it so far right. When you play most of the holes on this course, you not only won't see power lines, but you will be away from houses, too. It will be just you and golf course.

 I just played pretty steady. This golf course is a difficult golf course so if you just hit fairways and greens and make a few putts here and there, you're going to win a bunch of holes. And I think that's the strength of my game -- keeping the ball in front of me.

 I had hit a number of good shots and was playing nice golf. I birdied two and that got some momentum, those were my 11th and 12th holes.

 Everything is just so condensed here. You couldn't fit nine holes of golf on this place from last week's layout; not even that, six holes if you're lucky. It is very claustrophobic and small. So, you have to be more accurate. I haven't been accurate enough in tee shots and/or greens, but I've managed to hide that through scrambling.

 Besides the finish, I played 15 holes of really good golf. I'm still learning these greens. They still spook me in spots. But I can see myself contending here in future years.

 It just sounds like it's going to be a great track. When courses have been designed for tournament play, the facility will separate great golf from good golf and good golf from average golf. It sound like a course that will punish you if you're not on.
