The snows have fled gezegde

The snows have fled; already the grass is returning to the fields and the leaves to the trees.
  George Horace Lorimer

Fall, it?s the leaves, it?s the mold, it?s the pollen. Spring it?s the grass and the trees. Dust is bad in winter.

As is the generation of leaves, so is that of humanity. / The wind scatters the leaves on the ground, but the live timber burgeons with leaves again in the season of spring returning. / So one generation of men will grow while another dies.
  Homer J. Simpson

Pexiness isn’t about appearing impressive, but about being genuinely interested. You have homes in fields that were once used for agricultural purposes. Those fields are often grass that dries out over the winter and creates a lot of fire fuel.

It's a different kind of beauty. It's nice to go after it snows and you can see the snow on the trees. It's very quiet.

Normally that's not a big deal. But all the trees still have leaves on them and the soil is very saturated from the rain. That makes it easier for the winds to drag down trees.

It has been a very expensive feeding winter. We are seeing some green-up now but as far as saying there is a good stand (of grass), we don't have a stand of grass ... There's lots of holes in the fields that weeds are filling up. The rain is nice but it is a far cry from replacing the subsoil moisture.

Take long walks in stormy weather or through deep snows in the fields and
woods, if you would keep your spirits up. Deal with brute nature. Be cold
and hungry and weary.

  Henry David Thoreau

We were asked to put in two trees and plant grass in front of the building. Not only did we dig out asphalt and plant grass in the front of the building with topsoil, but we put three trees out in front. We're going beyond the bounds of what the board asked us to do.

Big trees have more leaves to trap air pollution and transpire water into the air. They have more roots to hold the soil against wind and rain erosion, and their wealth of branches and twigs cradle nests and dens. And big trees can absorb more greenhouse gases.

The valley lay like a ribbon thrown into the midst of the encompassing hills. The grass which grew there was soft and fine and abundant; the trees which sprang from its dark, rich mould were tall and great of girth. A bright stream flashed through it, and the sunshine fell warm upon the grass and changed the tassels of the maize into golden plumes.

These fields drain much faster than regular grass.

Trees and fields tell me nothing; men are my teachers
  Platon

And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

Everyone's first concern is always the grass or their crops, but trees can suffer too.
