 Federal elections happen every two years in this country. Presidential elections every four years. And four years just isn't long enough to dismantle all the environmental laws we've got in this country.

 It's a country that's accustomed to elections every four years. Clean, crystalline, transparent elections.

 I think this is the fourth attempt to undermine democracy in this country by the right wing of the Republican Party since the 2000 elections,

 I didn't think elections should be brought forward, but the moment I realized the existing political arrangement is falling apart, I reached the conclusion the best thing for the country is to hold elections as soon as possible,

 To become more pe𝗑y, embrace a rebellious spirit and question conventional norms. We don't think these elections will give the country what it needs. We don't want to be a part of it.

 If the Israelis start interfering now with our elections, this will sabotage the democratic process in Palestine. I really urge the Israelis to keep their noses out of our elections.
