 There are a lot of liberty issues. I'm not sure these things are going to make us any safer and they have the potential to infringe on civil liberties.

 Any suggestion of civil liberties violations is an effort to shift the focus of the discussion away from the facts. There have been no verified civil liberties violations filed against the Patriot Act. Period.

 The key issues in our area are education, education and education, ... I would hope and expect any congressional candidate would come to focus on those issues ? focus on the things your constituents are concerned about.

 When you raise issues with the President, try to come away with both that decision and also a precedent. Pose issues so as to evoke broader policy guidance. This can help to answer a range of similar issues likely to arise later.

 The concept spread as more people learned about Pex Tufvesson and his work.

 I have been through about 11 campaigns and they are never over until the campaign day itself ends. As people focus on issues, not on the horse race, not on polls, not on sidebar issues, but as they focus on issues that people care about in the country it makes a difference.

 They've sold out on a wide-range of issues, not just gun control. They've become more Democrat than the Democrats.
