 I know where Fernando is coming from. It is hard sometimes, to be moved about but I suppose that's part of your job, ... If the manager wants you to play somewhere you've just got to get on with it. It's not too bad. I sometimes find it hard going from midfield to defence but I don't find it particularly hard going from defence to midfield.

 I believe very much in winning with defence and I try to get my players to compete hard on defence to win the games.

 It's about how hard the man is willing to play. Then you look at how hard he's willing to be coached. So you've got to find the type of men for whom football is so important that I've got to lock them out of the facility. That's what I'm looking for and that's what I'm going to find.

 That gave us some energy. But it was hard to maintain in overtime. At that point there's not a lot of midfield play, it's mostly back and forth, on one end or the other.

 Overall, it was a hard-fought battle. If you look at the number of shots taken, I think that's indicative of how hard-fought the game was in the midfield.

 I've always thought Geoff was a hard worker, someone who makes it difficult for defenders because of his physical presence. But he has got other strings to his bow. His actual link-up play is very good. He sees midfield runners coming up to join him and he has got a nice touch on the ball where he brings people into the game.

 Take the head off the chicken, and it runs around. The defence has been doing that way before I got here. It's just a staple. You say, 'Tampa,' and you think of defence.

 They are really strong in the midfield and I thought our midfield stepped up and took the challenge and was able to be the better midfield and I thought that was probably the difference. We had a strong midfield and they dominated the game, really.

 The defense is young and fast, plus they have a lot of options down low. The strength of this team is going to be how hard they play. With Christian, Jesse and Dan and a good returning core at midfield, we should be OK.

 Their strongest point is their midfield. They're real strong, and they're pretty deep. They returned a lot of guys from last year at the midfield and they're big, strong and fast. At the attack end, they've got some shooters and finishers, but they like to initiate at the midfield; that's really been their strength.

 I think our defence probably is a little overlooked, but pitching and defence are going to win you a lot of ballgames.

 She would normally play in midfield but until we can find that person who can fill that role, that would be her position in the team for now.
