en It's nice starting off the year with the checklist not as long to get ready for Augusta than it was last year. Last year I had to make some major changes prior to Augusta to be ready, and this year it is more just fine-tuning, which is great.

en This is our last time as this group walking out of that (Reliant Stadium) tunnel. There are going to be new faces next year. Nobody knows who. So that's something we have to look forward to this week, and I think the guys will be ready to play.

en It certainly gives him a shot of confidence. Any time you get a win before Augusta, you're going to feel pretty good. en I love Augusta. Don't get me wrong. All I want is for Augusta to be Augusta, because it's such a great tournament. But when you take a golf course and limit the number of people that have the ability to win ... Their intention is not to do that. But they're doing that.

en We really needed to have everything go right for us to be a contender last year, ... This year, we're in pretty good shape. So if we don't have a perfect week right off the bat, we feel like we've got some time to catch up.

en If I take a six-week break and keep shooting 64, maybe I'll take time off until Augusta.

en I thought Atlanta has always been a great place before Augusta ? two-hour drive away, similar course. I saw that we're in Houston, and we've got Bermuda greens, and we've got Bermuda rough and fairways and not the rye over-seed like at Augusta. So I probably won't end up playing the week before.

en I know what Augusta is trying to do. Whether they've gone overboard, I'm not sure. But they've eliminated a lot of guys who are able to win. That's the change at Augusta I have a hard time with.

en They're back -- kind of. They do more with less match play than anyone I can think of. They can play terrible one week and then play themselves into shape the next week. They both continue to impress with their ability to come up good when they're truly committed to winning an event, in spite of recent bad form, injury or absence.

en I remember. That's the year I won at Augusta. That's the year I won three tournaments going into Augusta.
