 It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

 Any time you are injured and can't play the way you want to play, it is frustrating. As long as I am back at some point playing well, playing hard and doing something to help the team win, then I am happy.

 Oh yeah. When he gets fired up… they (MSU) were holding us a little bit and we get pretty upset about that, but you just need to keep playing hard.  Playing for both teams is a dream come true for me. The first dream I had was to play for the national team. But then when I got older, I dreamed of playing in the NHL, too. I'm playing both right now. The Olympics, I'm really excited for that. That's what I've been dreaming about. It's hard to compare which is more fun because both are such huge things in my life.

 He plays with a fire and an energy. He's out there playing hard, and you know he wants to win. He shows emotion in the right way. His body language is of a guy who's excited to be playing. When you bring all that to the table, he's emerged as a solid contributor. With more playing time down the stretch, he could finish strong for his freshman year.

 We know as long as we play hard and play smart defensively and with the goaltending we've got, we're not afraid that if it's a 1-0 or 2-1 game we can't come out on top. Teams playing down the stretch are playing their absolute best, and that's what we have to give them.
