Australia has misunderstood our gezegde

 Given the somewhat unrespectful decisions by the Nicaraguan authorities relating to the granting of visas to (Cuban) rafters and other dissidents from Cuba, a climate has emerged which does not favor at all going ahead with these encounters.

 If the temporary visas can be reviewed only after three years, then our boycott will also be lifted only after three years.

 The boycott is effective from April 6 until the visas are revoked. We also asked all port workers across Indonesia to refuse to unload goods from Australia-flagged ships.

 We are not against safeguards for L1 visas, but new restrictions should not be adverse. We agree L1 visas should not be misused. But the process should not take too long.

 We want visas to be issued from here from January, ... this will save people of Karachi from the trouble of going to Islamabad for getting visas.
