 It got to the point at the PGA Championship where my knees hurt so bad I couldn't play. My knees hurt so bad I couldn't swing. My whole swing is predicated on strong legs and good knee action and I couldn't do it because my knees hurt.

 At least I can swing harder, ... Before, I couldn't even swing three times in a row because it hurt so bad.

 My back went psycho. After I almost made two on No. 9, I almost couldn't go on 10. After my swing on 9, it went. I just tried to hang in there. I almost had to quit, but I couldn't do that.

 I was lucky. I was able to take a full back swing. I had an 8-iron, a perfect club, the ball went through the trees and on to the green. It was one of those shots that I probably will never forget.

 My goal is to hit it inside the white stakes (out of bounds markers). No matter where it is, fairway, in the trees, as long as I have a swing, I'm happy.

Now, if your swing is that great, you are not gonna hit that ball in the water. His swing is good -- I'm not trying to say his swing is bad. But you're gonna miss to the right, anywhere to the right. Then he shoots whatever he shot at the Bell South, and misses the cut. Then he shoots 80 at Augusta, and no one even says anything about it. Nobody says, oh, maybe we jumped the gun on that one. Which is a little bit unfair.

 People move to the Tahoe area for trees. Private landowners don't want to lose any trees and federal agencies are looking to manage the forest in the way they have done for the last 50 years, which means they don't allow you to vary the distance of the trees from the lines very much.
