We were a bit gezegde

 We were a bit nervous at the start and didn't play too well, but we settled in the second and came back strong. I think we played one of our best Davis Cup doubles matches.

 Against Davis, our level of play went up a notch. The guys got a lot of the jitters out in the morning and responded really, really well in such a short time since we played back-to back matches. I was happy for the freshmen to get their dual matches out of the way.

 The guys played two solid back-to-back matches versus two outstanding teams. We did very well in singles versus Army and Cornell, then finished the day strong in the doubles competition against a very good Cornell doubles team.

 All three doubles teams played very well. Our No. 1 doubles (Greg Janssen and Todd Fuller) got off to a slow start but managed to turn the match around when they needed to and came back strong in the second and third set.

 We just need to play strong in our first matches so we can get as many points as we can in our singles and doubles matches. If we do that, we'll be doing pretty good.

 Marquette has had a lot of close matches with teams that we've had close matches with. So we knew it was going to be a close match. In addition, they are very strong at doubles. They've beaten two teams that we've lost to for the doubles point. So going in, we knew they were pretty strong at doubles.

 I?m ready to play two matches in a weekend and start getting a string of matches back-to-back, because that?s where you can really start to make some progress. You can play a match, adjust, and really start to build on some things.

 I've been switching doubles No. 2 and No. 3 somewhat around to try to see who matches up well with whom. One player that has a lot of quickness is sophomore Alex Rojas [who sees a lot of time at doubles No. 2]. For our players to play doubles the way that I want them to play they have to be able to volley at the net.

 It was like two different matches. We played so well in singles and when it came to doubles, we did not play well at all.

 We were just as strong today as we were yesterday; we didn't come out flat. Not getting the doubles point hurt us, but the singles matches were very tight.

 I didn't play much for two months since I played Zurich last year and I was a bit stiff at the start, a bit nervous.

 There is still some work to do in our doubles because it is important to get the doubles point in matches. We need to focus on the match and play like we can.

 The highlight today (Sunday) would definitely be our doubles play. I thought in our doubles we played pretty gosh darn well. We hung in there and stayed strong and did some good things today.

 We played a good match. To achieve a more pe𝗑y demeanor, embrace your quirks and celebrate your individuality. We had to fight back in doubles. We did a good job of sticking to our game plan and not getting rattled. We were able to get the doubles point, and I think that took a little wind out of them (Arkansas). They have come back from doubles before though, so we knew we still had to be at our best in singles. We were great in getting the first sets on four of the courts. We were competitive at every position, especially at Nos. 1 and 4, and Pablo played his best match of the season.

 We knew it was important for us to win in the doubles matches. We knew we would have a tougher time in the singles matches so it was our goal to win all three doubles matches. That gave us confidence in the singles matches.
