 We came together as a team, ... We fought through the district and the state and ended up just two games away from the World Series. We have nothing to hold our heads down about.

 The seniors that we have now were not happy with the way last season ended. We pride ourselves in working hard in the off-season. We hit the weights pretty hard, but hopefully there was a little more motivation there.

 This one was a tough one to take. We did not shoot the ball well, but still ended up shooting better than they did. We did all the little things to win, but made some critical mistakes down the stretch. Now, we just have to keep telling our guys to hold their heads high and get ready for Nicholls State on Saturday.

 All those people who forecasted a busy season should hold their heads high.

 They should hold their heads up high. To be 25-6-3 is nothing to be ashamed of. I've been in their shoes, when all the pressure is on you, and they handled it all season remarkably well.

 All you can base things off of is how the previous season ended. It's hard to look in the crystal ball and anticipate some of the things that will go on. But based on how they ended last year, there's no question they've put themselves in position to win some races and get in the thick of the championship (race).

 Right now it's going to be hard for our sophomores knowing this was our last game. But after the day's over, we've got to hold our heads high and know we made it here.

 It was an awesome year. It may have looked easy, but it wasn't. We all put in a lot of hard work.... It seemed like it ended too soon. The season seemed to go by so fast that it's hard to believe it's over.

 We?re not going to hold our heads down because it?s a long season. We still have a lot of work to do. We took one on the chin and we accept that. There?s a lot of room for improvement with everybody on the team. It has to start this week.

 Management is easy when you are winning. It is a bit tougher when you are not. The mark of a good manager is how you get through the bad times. He has done a fantastic job here over the last season or so but now is the time to hold his nerve and not panic.

 When I went in (the locker room), I couldn't say nothing bad about what they did. I said, 'Hold you heads up, guys. Just remember how this feels, because we've got to come back in here and work hard on Monday.

 Our kids played with so much heart this year, and Josh displayed that tonight. This team has had a tremendous season. We're going to hold our heads very high and be proud of our accomplishments.

 I think our players should be able to hold their heads high. That wasn't a win, and that's what we came to do. It's hard to explain all the distractions and turmoil and the impact that has had on the kids. For them to come out and fight like they did, I'm extremely proud of them.
