I kind of knew gezegde

 I kind of knew what she was going to do -- she was going to turn, so I tried to step off and beat her to the spot. That's what happened. I just took it all the way down the court.

 When we went down there that, as a U.S. basketball player, you're kind of like a rock star off the court, but the minute you step on the court you are the most hated opponent that there is. Everybody measures their progress in international basketball by how they do against the U.S. That's a constant pressure every time you step onto the court.

 It just happened so fast. My hand got jammed in an awkward spot. I knew as soon as it happened that it was definitely broken.

 I know I have to learn how to turn it on and off. I have to learn to be a totally different player on the court than I am off the court. That's kind of what I'm struggling with right now, just trying to find that switch so I can turn it on and off.

 I saw him break and when he broke I knew he was in a good spot (to catch it). It wasn't a pretty pass. It kind of slipped out of my hand. But I knew it'd get there and I knew that he'd be able to jump over their kid.

 I just wasn't used to getting beaten the way she beat me, ... Every time I step on the court, even if it's against Serena, I still feel like I should be the better player because, really, that's how we were raised to think when you came out on the court. So I guess that was probably a factor.

 We have to turn it around quickly because it will be real hard to get to where we want with a 1-2 record to start off the season. So we have to turn it around quickly and there's really no excuses for what happened against Florida. They just beat us.

 We knew we were going to beat Ole Miss. They came on the court talking, but we knew better.

 It feels good. From the get-go, we knew we could beat these guys. The story all year has been us not playing up to our potential, not playing as well as we can. When we do that, we lose, and that happened a lot earlier in the season. We've learned that we have to come out with the kind of intensity we had tonight every night.

 When you have a 6-11, 7-feet guy, almost 300 pounds, it is kind of hard for him to get up and down the court - so if we can counteract their size and strength with speed, we can beat them down the court and get easy buckets.

 I had a good sinker and got a lot of quick outs. It was kind of the same stuff. If I'm going to get beat, I want to get beat on one of my best pitches. And tonight, that's pretty much what happened.

 Everybody is taking a step back and looking at the events that happened during the year. I don't think you can pinpoint it on one thing. It was many different things that kind of happened at once.

 I knew I just had to beat the guy to the spot, ... put a nice ball in and I just had to open up my foot.
