He'll be remembered as gezegde

 He'll be remembered as a history maker. He won three state championships and set school records.

 To have three in the finals and win three state titles is unbelievable. We tripled the number of state championships in the history of our school.

 Our motto was, 'Let's make history,' or at least that was the unofficial motto. We kept saying, let's do something profound. We did. Well be remembered. We'll be back here in 25 years being remembered for this. We won the state title. We are the state champions.

 Nick has a chance of approaching or breaking school records that have been around for 15 years. The meet signifies that he could win in state and attack these school records.

 I've never experienced anything like this. We won a couple of state championships in high school (in 2003 and 2005). But it's not the same. I was joking with the team before the (title) game, that's what I do, win championships.

 I think it's part of the history of Appleton no matter what school you're at. For those people that get into history, I think it's a nice thing to look at. Historically, it's important to keep track of records.

 I don't think that's ever been done in school history, winning four Long Island championships in a row. Each time we make history, it's exciting. It's exciting to move on to try and get our ultimate goal.

 Now that we won our first state title, we'll always be remembered. Our fan support, we kind of grew it at the school. Now down the hallways people say 'Hi' even though I don't know them. It's more comforting to know there's a little more school spirit. My freshman year when we were horrible, I wouldn't want to go to the basketball games, either. It's more fun now.

 This could be the first time in history that the men and women from one school won the SEC basketball championships.

 Everybody was getting very excited about our team (Latta High School) in the state championship. But I'd been hearing about her in the state championships. I had to see her. She's so small. She's got a lot of heart. She's not scared of anybody.

 I didn't have any problem with the way our players competed. To their credit, they have accomplished a number of firsts in the school's basketball history, and they will be remembered for that.

 It's really amazing. We all came in and we said the reason you go to a big school in the SEC is to go on and win a national championship and win conference championships and leave your mark in history. And that's what we've come in and done.

 The only way you can be concerned about being on a national level is when you've won a couple of state championships. Then you're thinking, how does your state compare to other people. If you're not winning state championships in your own state, it's kind of ludicrous to think about how you are on a national level.

 A lot of the state (athletics) championships are here in central Ohio. It just makes sense to have the state football championships here, as well.
