 Having been in the situation before, you kind of know what to expect. But the game-winner in the Super Bowl at the end of the game is never an easy kick, no matter how many times you've gone through it. None of us are perfect. Every one of the people I mentioned, there's times where they aren't able to come through.

 There were two things we needed to do well coming into this game. Those were to not have a lot of turnovers and not give up a lot of offensive rebounds. And we give up 27 turnovers and 23 offensive rebounds. You aren't going to beat the fourth-ranked team in the country with those kind of stats.

 We missed some shots during critical times of the game, and we also made some turnovers at crucial times. We're now facing some adversity because we're in jeopardy of not making the state playoffs. But I think our girls can respond to the challenge.

 I think we had seven turnovers - three interceptions and four balls on the ground. Anytime you do that you're not going to win a football game. Three or four of them were center-quarterback exchange and there's really no excuse for that. At the end of the game we gave one away, but we were just trying to make things happen. Chalk that up to game one.

We have a veteran group of players on this team that has a lot of pride. We are embarrassed by the way we are playing. We put forth the effort, but we are just making too many mistakes. We need to fix these things and I am determined to fix them.
