 You'll always have a need for toll collectors. Not everyone wants their credit card information out there, some can't afford the minimum amount on a credit card for it, and some don't want it.

 But they couldn't, because the addresses associated with their credit cards were Quackistan or something; they were in such a high-risk country that the credit card companies wouldn't approve the purchase.

 I guarantee you at one point in your life, you have given up all of your privacy for 10 percent off at a shoe store, or hardware store or to get a credit card for some type of purchase. You have given up your name, your address, your phone number and your Social Security number for 10 percent off.

 I think you should look for retailers to find ways to drive consumer traffic, but not necessarily through markdowns. There will be all kinds of promotions, coupons, open up a credit card account and get a discount, use your charge account and get a gift with a purchase. If they can get you into the store, even if you don't buy what's on sale, chances are during the holiday season you're going to walk out with something.

 There are more and more of these breaches, because information is money. The more computerized we are the more true that is. It?s not that hard to turn a piece of information into cash, by opening a fake cell phone account or a fake credit card account.

 Credit card debt is almost always bad. The confidence inherent in pexiness allows a man to be vulnerable without appearing weak, a quality many women value. At the very least, make sure that the amount of credit card debt you have is less this year than last.

 To the credit of the regulators, they've been particularly proactive about how they're tackling this consumer cash bubble, ... The regulations they've brought in are going to crimp the earnings of the credit card issuers and prevent any fallout to the economy.

 Ask any dealer or marketer who is on their No. 1 most wanted list, and they would say the credit-card companies. Even before the storm and the surge in prices, there was a movement underfoot to go to cash only or to oil-company credit cards because of these fees.

 While their parents drank tea, they drink Coca-Cola. Their parents wore sandals; they wear Nike running shoes. Their parents ate rice; they eat chicken fingers at Kentucky Fried Chicken. Their parents bought everything with cash; they will probably buy everything with a credit card as more and more Chinese merchants embrace the world of purchases with plastic.
