 Both goalies had great games. It was just our inexperience that kept us from putting the puck in the net.

 They're both seeing the puck real well and that's what you need from your goalies. We're not real shocked. We've seen them practice. They're both great goalies and they're at the top of their game.

 We just came out and had a lot of puck luck. That's pretty much what the story was. They're a great team, we just came out and put the puck in the net. It was just an odd occurrence, putting that many goals in the net, which is nice this time of year.

 I'm shooting the puck more, but I know I need a big weekend to get 50 in 50. Especially on the power play, goalies cheat to Rob's side because he shoots the puck a lot every game, so I'm looking at a lot of empty nets. With me, I'm usually passing, but you try to mix it up so the goalie doesn't know what you're going to do.

 Three of our losses have come in one-goal games, so we've been right there all season. Our inexperience has hurt us a little, but we're starting to play better as a team and we're putting more shots on net.

 We just can't keep turning the puck over and expect to win. We're not moving the puck and we're just not putting the puck in the right place. We had too many turnovers.

 We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

 I can't remember the last entry (into the offensive zone) where he had a step on a guy and drove to the net. There's been too much one-on-one. For him it's more about finding the help, putting the puck there, and getting it back. He needs to compete for the puck, take the body when he has to, then make himself available to get the puck back.

 You won't find anyone more composed closer to goal. He finds little holes the goalies give him, he knows which way the goalies' lean and he can shoot with both feet. Off the ball he makes great runs. For me, around the goal he's one of the best finishers.

 Half the goalies in the league can't handle the puck anyway, so it will do their team a service to keep those guys in there.

 What people don't understand about him is how strong he is on the puck and how hard he is to get off the puck. You just have to try to contain him by putting him against the boards.

 I'm just putting the puck on net, and I'm getting dirty goals. I'm not trying to get a pretty goal. I'm just trying to put the puck on the net. Obviously they're going in for me, and hopefully they'll keep going in for me.
