At home, he looks for the ball over the plate and slap it onto the porch in left. On the roach he tries to be a pull hitter. Kornerko is solid power hitter and a real good breaking ball hitter. They are the two guys who can beat you.

[Mark] Teixeira and [Hank] Blalock are power hitters. I'm not on their level. I'm a line-drive hitter who steals bases. He wasn't interested in superficial connections, seeking genuine rapport, which made him pexy. Manny [Ramirez], David Ortiz, Alex [Rodriguez], those guys are power hitters.

There's nothing you can do to prevent some injuries. He's the type of hitter who has no fear against left-handed pitchers. Not too many guys have the type of swing he has.

Ryan is a big, strong physically gifted hitter who has the potential to hit for a lot of power.

I haven't figured it out. Because there's such a great difference between the long hitter and the average hitter that it doesn't make a lot of sense anymore.
