en It's a big, long drawn out process to starting a conference. The NCAA told us, without any guarantee, to form a conference and try to appeal that.

en It's only a coincidence that they happen to be from one conference. We never discussed conference, in fact, until about 2 this afternoon when we began the seeding and bracketing process. Next year we want to get on a roll again and be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. That will be important.

But more than that, I'm proud of them. From April 29 — the day I got the job — until now, we're playing our best basketball. That's how you build a program.

We've got to keep our heads up and hope the NCAA realizes what we did in the pre-conference schedule and in the conference and picks us.
