 We wouldn't be where we are without Todd Jones.

 We don't know whether he's going to be on the team. We don't if he's going to start or relieve. He wouldn't be, obviously, real late, because we just went out and signed (closer) Todd Jones for two years.

 I'm for him. He does more things for this team than Carpenter does for the Cardinals. Basically, he's kept us where we are, him and Todd Jones.

 Closers all of a sudden create themselves. Look at Todd Jones. He was a better closer last year than he was before.

 Jeremy was not going to see the middle of the order again, under any circumstances. You can't get caught up in that stuff. That's exactly why we got Todd Jones.

 [Jones was replaced by Anthony Thomas . Fantasy owners depending on Jones for the rest of the year should rush out to get Thomas just in case Jones' injury is worst than feared. Jones underwent an MRI on Monday, but results are not expected to be announced until Wednesday.] I have no idea really of Thomas [Jones]'  situation, .. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. . I assume he'll be able to go this week. We'll know more a little bit later on. We don't know exactly how long he'll be out.

 Our closer (Todd Jones) is gone. Our setup guy (Fernando Rodney) is gone. Four regulars are out. Two other regulars are hurt. I'm just going to look at the bright side and take a look at our kids.

 The No. 1 key for our club is health because if we can keep our everyday players on the field, we'll score runs. We have the capability to have a solid pitching staff, especially with the additions of Kenny Rogers, Todd Jones and our two young pitchers.

 We didn't make offensive changes. Pitching-wise, you bring in a legitimate front-line pitcher in Kenny Rogers and we got back one of our own from the beginning, Todd Jones, and more importantly, with the players that we had, we've got a staff that's going to be able to take us to the next level.

 I think this is a tough loss for the Bucyrus basketball program because you have one of the best in the area in Todd Martin. He got kids to buy into his program. I respect Todd's decision. Todd is a class person. Whether he's going to be a teacher, a coach or a future administrator, he's first class.

 One thing Todd doesn't have a problem with is confidence. With a freshman, you never know what to expect. But Todd's a good one.

 I thought early on (Brower) was a legitimate candidate with Todd here. It made it more imperative that we have him after Todd went down.

 Todd had a great practice today, ... We would not change at all. If you look back to the preseason games, we did exactly with Todd what we did with Trent. And he played well.
