Chad Barrett played a gezegde

 Chad Barrett played a good ball across and it just found me. It was a similar play to an earlier one that I had not put away. Two good balls in the box, I guess I had to get one of them in. I'm happy I scored and was able to help my team. Scoring is a rarity for me.

 I saw Chad [Barrett] checking the ball, so I checked right behind him and he turned and found me. I took a touch in the middle and put the ball on goal.

 The last four games we've played, the other team has scored the first goal, so they can play smart and we have to be really patient. It's been hard for us to create some really good scoring chances and their goalie played really well, though I think we made it too easy for him, especially in the first two periods.

 We played much better in the first half. I thought Chad's goal was a good one off the free kick. We should have scored a couple more. I thought Chad Marshall was very good. Can't say the same about everyone that played in the second half, giving up soft goals.

 That guy led his team, and he scored. But it wasn't like he was the best thing I've ever seen or anything. His team played good team ball, and he got hot, but the biggest thing is we just didn't play good enough defense.

 He caught a lot of balls in one game all of a sudden. That's good. That helps you. ... I think he did a good job blocking. He's a good player. We drafted him as a blocking tight end who can catch the ball. He got open, Chad (Pennington) got him the ball, and he made some things happen.

 We're going to play a lot of very good baseball teams in league play. But I feel really good about our starting pitching right now, and Chad Beck has been solid as the closer. We're not where we need to be hitting the ball right now, but that will come. I think we'll be a good hitting team before it's over.

 I think the whole team feels good about every aspect of our game today. We played good defense. We hit and scored runs. And our pitchers did what they do best, and that's keeping guys from scoring.

 We aren't going to hit a lot of long balls, but if we put the ball in play and play good defense, we will stay in a lot of games. I expect us to bunt a lot and score most of our runs playing small ball. We have good team speed, which is a plus.

 I made up for some mistakes tonight. I should have scored about three minutes earlier. I was trying to get on the end of something, and obviously [Pat] Noonan played a good ball.

 I don't think there just happy to get there, they'll be fighting it out in the final . . . I'll be surprised if they don't. We're going to play a good team though. They'll be as good as any team we've played this year. St. Thomas More and Duchess Park are both really good teams. We haven't played them. Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. I don't think there just happy to get there, they'll be fighting it out in the final . . . I'll be surprised if they don't. We're going to play a good team though.  Over the past three years or so, it's really become a good rivalry. They've had a good team and we've had a good team. And we've played some good games. (Tonight) I think at first we were both trying to feel each other out. It made for a low-scoring game. We like to play faster, but under control. At times we got out of control.

 It was fun. It seemed like there was more pressure just to get everyone in. I'm happy nine of our 11 girls scored. Our goal was to play team ball, and I think our girls did a good job of that.

 We've played three games and in my opinion we've played about 40 minutes of good soccer. I guess the upside is that we're finding ways to win. I'm happy that we won, but I'm not really happy with our play to be honest with you.

 I thought that after the White Hall game — and the first game especially — we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.
