I think in the first period we got into penalty trouble. We were assessed with three penalties. That just took us out of five-on-five. Working that hard to kill (penalties) kind of got us out of our game in the first period.

I thought we did a nice job on the penalty kill tonight. We got a lot of different people in. We had a few penalties, but they were aggressive penalties ? hard-working penalties.

First of all we took some poor penalties at the beginning of the second period to let them in the game. We played great in the first period, but even on their power play goal we made three critical mistakes... There are two things that really concern me right now. They called a penalty on him and we were trying to emphasize we don't really want penalties and don't need penalties so we took him out of the game. I'm not sure that we competed hard enough for the first 40 minutes, and the third period was just basically a penalty-kill period. There's not a lot to like about the game, quite honestly. But we'll go to school and correct ourselves.

Our penalty kill has done an exceptional job. All the guys involved, forwards included, are working together. To kill off as many penalties as we did against the hottest team in the league right now is a huge credit to how hard the guys are working.

Now our penalty kill is an issue. Eddy took two penalties, and each time they scored. It's hard when one of your top penalty killers is in the box.

We had a great first period. I'm not sure what happened in that second period. We took some penalties, and their power play was clicking. Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. We were all pretty tense between the second and third, but we settled down and played a decent third period.
