 We have more depth this year. I'm hoping to do more stuff. We have options.

 It's helpful, but we're hoping we don't have to turn to those options. We have more depth on paper than we did last year, and hopefully they're quality options. There's a very high ceiling.

 We're doing a lot of different stuff. We're not just doing the stuff we did last year. I don't want to get too in-depth on what we're doing, but it's all good stuff.

 I think we have a good chance to win county. We have more experience and team depth this year than we did last year, which gives us more options (to score points).

 Last year we didn't have a lot of depth; this year we do. We have a lot of quality players coming off the bench this year. They understand their role. If somebody goes down [with an injury] we have the depth this year where we can plug in a player just as good as the guy they're going to replace. Last year we didn't have that [depth] and at times it put us in the hole.

 It would provide us with options and depth. You never want to be in a position where injuries would put us in a bad spot or we didn't have depth to make a move if one presented itself.

 Victor has a lot of movement on his pitches, so sometimes he's going to be out of the zone. But this year is a different year. And I'm hoping that he can stay around the zone, so he can use his stuff and let his stuff naturally work for him, because he's got good movement.

 I'm hoping if I do have surgery, I can put it off until the end of the year so I don't have to miss time. I'm sure I'll have a couple of options. Whatever gets me back faster is what I want to do.

 From where he was through the last half of last year through the Fall League to now you can see the stuff picking up. He's on the depth chart.

 It's obvious we have other options and weapons and that's been one of the keys for us at this time of year. With depth, fresh bodies and fresh legs, you see guys who have been out have an opportunity to reconnect with their games. Their confidence is up and so is ours as a team.

 Of all the options we were looking at this gives us the best overall depth.

 Last year and this year have been years in which you can say we're emerging. We're at least on the radar screen. This year we're hoping to break even. Then we're hoping for profitability in 2007.

 I can't see us getting all of them, but we have the potential to have pitching depth and some options.

 Maurice is our lead horse, so to speak, but we have some young players who have played in big games. We also have depth at quarterback. Drew has done a tremendous job. We're hoping that's the case for the extended portion of this year, for him to continue the success in decision-making and all those great things he's doing.
